KEFALOGRAVIERA SEMI-HARD
GREECE
Kefalograviera is a classic Greek cheese celebrated for its exceptional frying qualities. Best known as the ultimate cheese for saganaki, it holds its shape beautifully when heated, softening inside while developing a golden, crisp crust on the outside.
A staple Greek table cheese, Kefalograviera is one of Greece’s favorites to enjoy alongside meals with fresh bread and a glass of wine or tsipouro. Its versatility also makes it ideal for grating over dishes or melting into sauces such as béchamel.
Traditionally made from sheep’s milk or a blend of sheep’s and goat’s milk, the variety you’re tasting is crafted with 70% sheep’s milk and 30% goat’s milk, offering a rich, balanced flavor with a slightly tangy finish.
